I’ve converted my bit.ly library for CodeIgniter into a Spark for easier use and installation after many long months with an open issue from Phil Sturgeon. You can find the spark over at http://getsparks.org/packages/codeigniter-bitly/show, along with all the information needed to get Sparks in your CodeIgniter installation and how to run the spark. You’ll find the repo over on github at https://github.com/patrickpopowicz/codeigniter-bitly.
In the coming week, I’ll be looking over the current version of the bit.ly API to remove any depreciation methods and do an overall update of the library.
